Kewanee High School Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2019 to Be Honored this Weekend

It's a huge weekend for the Kewanee High School Athletic Hall of Fame as they will be inducting a new class of honorees this weekend and it is a large and prestigious group. According to officials with the Kewanee School Athletic Hall of Fame Foundation this weekend's class includes a remarkable array of well known and beloved honorees including Distinguished Alumni - Dr. Bob Breedlove ‘70, Jonny Henkins ‘04 and Mike Krause ’85; Friends – Dr. Bob Breedlove ’70 and Garry Costenson ’80; Female Athletes – Becca (Davis) Kinzer ’00, Ashley Goodrich ’02, 2005 Girls 800m Medley Relay Team (Sara (Cervantez) Nimrick, Kelly Cruse, Clarissa LaFlora and Rachel (Stalzer) Smith); Male Athletes – Bob White ’43, Steve Carlson ‘67, Ron Saey ’69, 1967 Boys 800m Relay Team (Kurt Beranek, Dick Carlson, Steve Carlson, Ron Saey), Don Harvey ’71, Gary Hill ’71, Chad Kelly ’90, and Adam Breedlove ’09; Teams 1946-47 Football and 1985-86 Boys Basketball. The new Hall of Famers will be introduced prior to Friday's Kewanee Boilermakers home Football game against Princeton beginning at 6:30 Pm. The Kewanee Athletic Hall of Fame Banquet will then take place on Saturday with Social Hour at 4 Pm, the Banquet, catered by P.L Damron's beginning at 5 Pm and the ceremony, open to everyone to attend, in the Petersen Auditorium at 6:15 Pm.
