The Annawan-Wethersfield Titans Varsity baseball team almost claimed victory in their postseason game against St. Bede, of Peru, IL. The game was close all throughout with both sides scoring in almost every inning. St. Bede took the lead early on with a run in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th innings. The Titans could only get one in the third.

Later in the game, both teams scored two in the sixth. With St. Bede in the lead, 5-3, going into the seventh inning, it was crunch time for the Titans. Unfortunately, Annawan-Wethersfield only scored one run before St. Bede claimed victory, winning 5-4.

The St. Bede varsity baseball team will face off against Alleman this Saturday at 11am.
